This site is at the top of my list with good reason: lots of authentic recipes (80 plus) that are well organized and documented with a detailed ingredient glossary. What you may find particularly fascinating is that June and her family are not Hungarian, but of French/ German decent. She explains her unique association with all things Hungarian in the "Origins" page of her Web site. Her recipes are noted to be authentic "Heirloom Hungarian Recipes", passed down through several generations. As June says of her collection: "This is stick to the ribs, clog your arteries food. But it is exceptionally flavorful and unforgettable". I couldn't have said it better!
Jane has complied most, if not all, of her recipes in a newly published cook book available on her web site.

The author of this site is a young Hungarian women named Talithea who states she has "true Gypsy running through her veins". She is currently preparing to publish a Hungarian cookbook with a broad and sizable collection of authentic recipes...over 250 at last count! Until then you may order any individual recipe for $1.00.

American born Mary Zold is the youngest of four siblings whose parents escaped from occupied Hungry in 1956. Her site celebrates the recipes of her mother, Joli. There are about 20 classic entries with more promised in the future. It's a bright, clean, web site complete with a search engine, marred only by the too-generous graphic treatment on the entry page.

János Mohácsi offers his collection of recipes on the "Some Savory Courses to Tickle your Palate" page. Recipes are organized into eight categories including soups, appetizers, salads, etc. There are a quite a few recipes but they offer minimal directives. Every dish has an accompanying photo, a bit too small, but a nice touch.

Anna Horvath offers about 30 recipes in seven categories with about 30 more listed, but not linked (a bit of a tease). Her emphasis is on main dishes. Sadly the dessert section will get your mouth watering but no actual recipes are provided. Hope she gets around to finishing her site soon!

Only a few recipes to choose from, but amply described with some nice photography. The main site also offers extensive Hungarian related topics, including chat and message boards.

If it's made in Hungary, Otto's probably has it. Their offerings include noodles, candies, beer, wine, paprika (need a 100 pound box?...they've got it), sausage, salami, cooking utensils, and gifts including Hungarian music cassettes and CD's. You can visit their online store or request a printed catalog.

A "general store" of Hungarian merchandise including food, jewelry, porcelains, books, CD's and cassettes, and apparel (check out the "Paprika Power" T-Shirts). This site is marred, however, by poor navigation.

A clean, well designed site with factual information about Hungary: news, culture, and trivia. Many excellent links to all things Hungarian.
